Languages you have learned

I've learned VB, VB.net, and VBA at school, used them at work for years. I'm kind of an Excel macro guru, I even made most of a Tetris game in it at some point. VB really came in handy at work when I got into a contract for developing and programming in an ERP environment. VBA, SQL and such. Good systems with interesting interactions.

I've learned Python on my free times several years ago. Great language in every way. Used to use it with pygame, it was a great bundle for pretty much anything. Good sandbox setup I liked. Didn't do much since and sadly, I never had an opportunity to use it at work back in those days. Everything was Microsoft, you know.

I’m a web developer so I’ve mainly learnt PHP, JavaScripts Jquery but I’ve also learnt some Java and C++.

I learned Java at school, and self-taught HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript and so on.

As a web dev, did you have the opportunity to try JSON? I heard it's quite popular nowadays. I don't know much about it though, so feel free to tell me otherwise! ;)

I have to be honest, I never got into JSON, not because I dislike it or anything like that, I just never found a use for it. Perhaps something I'll get to with a future project!
I’m the same, I know 10% of JSON other then that I never really needed it in a project as of yet.

I think I mixed JSON with node.js. I'm not up to date at all with web languages.

Node.js is the one I meant to ask of you guys had the chance to work with. I heard a lot of good about it.

It’s always changing hey :D

When I first started web development only had raw PHP back in 2009 now we have all these new web frameworks which have advanced :P

I learned few of the languages online only because of no time and now we see applications are on the way to develop. I have learned C and C ++ offline atlast learned PHP online. Most people try to learn, but when they lost hope in this coding will leave it off.

Everything in life takes patience, I didn’t think I learn anything about PHP and now I can make web apps with it.
