Laptop- Opinions

That's not bad for 4 GB RAM and 250GB hard drive. Before you do though, shop around. That's the best advice I can say. Prices on laptops vary everywhere, and make sure you know what you're getting, and what you want it for.

Say for example, me. I do videoediting. So I have 4GB RAM, and Intel Core Duo, and I still have slow times. I also burn and watch Blurays, and my computer lags sometimes. If you aren't going to do much of the high up videoediting, blurays, or photoshop at a professional level, it should be fine..

I suppose if you are into gaming, read more into it.

Thanks for the advice

, I would have thought lagging shouldn't be an issue, especially with RAM usage being lower with Windows 7.

I use 7, and it still happens. But like I said, that happens rarely (maybe once or twice in a bluray movie) for 5 seconds, and a bit more often when I am making changes to 1080p video. But that is expected with that big of video type. I really should just use 720p.. But I have a professional HD camcorder..

Hmm... well I won't really be using that sort of thing so it should be ok.
