Laptop or desk top

Hi Friends,

AT present I am using my desktop, I wish to buy a laptop soon. Means in next year, I am thinking to buy laptop or tab. Which is useful to me to do my activities in social forums?

Moved it, also I think we have several of this topic too. But anyway, I like my desktop computer.

It's personal preference:

1) How much power do you need in your computer? (desktop is more customizable and less of an issue with overheating, etc)

2) Do you want to be able to lug your computer around with you? Laptops are great for that, obviously.

3) Will you want to game? What kinds of games would you want to play if the answer is yes? Laptops, especially gaming ones, tend to be more expensive when you want a decent one for gaming.

4) What exactly are you going to be using it for? Everyday things like word processing, emailing, chatting, and surfing the web? Or will you be wanting to run programs like Photoshop or other media editing software?

I've been a desktop user for 12 years. And this is the first year being a laptop user, after getting this Asus ultrabook. I still rely on desktop when I want to bow down unlicensed retro games. Which I still do.
