Do you prefer to use a laptop or a tablet? Why?

I do have a tablet but I only use it for reading when I'm traveling because I can carry a whole bunch of books with me in my carry on without it taking up much space. Other than that, I'm using my laptop for everything else.

Everything depends on the kind of work I need to do with the gadget. If it's a complex work, I would definitely make use of laptop over a tablet and vice versa.

Me personally I’ve got a desktop but for portability I turn to tablets, for me it’s just easier to carry around, But I respect everyone differences,

each to their own!

I have a laptop, since it does everything that I'd want from a desktop, while also being portable.

I don't have a tablet, because for me personally it'd be the worst of both worlds: I already have my phone for doing quick stuff on the go, and my laptop for more advanced stuff that requires a bigger screen - so I don't have any need for a device that's sort of like both, but unable to fully replace either.

Microsoft surface tries to be a laptop and tablet at the same time, I see your point though I personally love my tablet but like everything else we all have different opinions and that’s okay!
🙂

I’ve also got a desktop for doing web design stuff, my windows tablet can do the same if it has the keyboard.

Sounds good :) .

But yeah, these different devices cater to different sets of needs. In the case of tablets, while they're the worst of both worlds for me personally, they're the best of both worlds for my mum (whose needs differ from mine: she's not a gamer, and nor has she ever been much of a phone user).

We all definitely have different needs! I’m a web designer so I need my desktop but I bought my tablet for watching movies and YouTube in bed :D

For some reason I hate sitting in a chair watching I rather a bed.

Yeah, can definitely understand that. I mostly just use my laptop in bed anyway... perhaps a tablet would be more convenient for that, but my laptop works just fine :P .

If it works then no need to replace it :D

iPads and Androids may not be as good for what I do but my windows tablet acts like my backup computer when I’m in bed or don’t have access to my main desktop.
