Has anyone had any sort of laundry disaster happen to them? For instance, putting a piece of clothing in you meant to dry but it came out 4x smaller than when it went in and you had to get rid of it. I put some sweaters in the dryer that says to lay flat and dry, but I put them on delicate and I'm going to take them out just under halfway through the drying process. They were still a bit soaked so I wanted to get some of the water out before I let them air dry.

Putting a brand new unwashed red shirt in with everything else. All my light colored clothes in there turned pink. :faint:

I don't do the laundry, my mom does. She hasn't told me about any disasters lol.

I didn't have a laundry disaster just now, but I found out that some of my sweaters did shrink a little bit. I just hope it's not too much that I can't wear them. They're my favorites. T_T

I once washed a 'dry clean only' dress by accident. By the time all was said and done, the dress made a nice sweater!

Aww, I hope it lives!

Nothing major. Probably my worst one was washing my clothes with tissues still in the pockets, which created a pretty big mess >_< .

I've done that before too and all the clothes were covered with pieces of tissue. Worst was when the tissue pieces were all over my black jeans. What a hard time getting all that off my jeans.

One time I put a rug with a rubber backing in a dryer and it melted (not completely, but noticeably).

Duh, I should have seen that one coming.

Yes, I've had this happen plenty. I'm not very good at sorting. I just prefer to throw it all in together and be done with it.
