Yeah. I'm baffled by the fact that family abusers (males in most cases) in my country can abuse their family members as much as they want and get away with it unless they kill someone, which often happens since the society approves such behavior and the law is written is such a way that the police can't touch them until they kill someone, and even then, a half-decent lawyer can manipulate the facts and circumstances in such way that makes them look like holy saints, and their victims like the hellspawns who had it coming.
