Logging in without posting

In the case of my board, I run a resource board, so I think most people log in to grab resources and then be on their way.

I can understand logging in if there are guest-restricted forums and you're just the type that likes to read more than post around.

Reminds me of a few overly convoluted forums out there. Admins get WAY too creative with the forum titles and descriptions and I have no idea what each sub-forum is even about in the first place.
