There were multiple blades scattered round the scene of the attack, including Machetes.

What I find amazing are the amount of people just standing around seemingly oblivious to what's going on.

Also this woman who walks right by this guy who's bloody and has a weapon in his hand.

I think some people thought it wasn't real or something. Either that or she was completely oblivious to what was going on, People in London seem to walk around like zombies.

Also I read that people had tried to get over to shield the mans body. The 2 attackers let the women do it but not the men, they threatened the men. Think people just thought it safer to wait for police.

It was a disgusting act of violence; I don't understand these people. It's completely the wrong way to convey any sort of message.

Bakri Mohammed, speaking from abroad, has gone much further. In an interview with The Independent, he said he understood why the suspects would have carried out the barbaric attack on Drummer Lee Rigby.

He said: ‘I saw the film and we could see that he (the suspect) was being very courageous.

‘Under Islam this can be justified, he was not targeting civilians, he was taking on a military man in an operation. To people around here (in the Middle East) he is a hero.’
