Losing virginity.. in the name of art

A student will lose his virginity in front of a live audience as a piece of performance art.

Clayton Pettet, 19, has given away free tickets for the event, marketing his live deflowering at a London gallery as an "immersive art piece."

In advertising the performance, the small print states: "Please be aware this piece will not have a set amount of time."

"Whether it's making people angry, excited, or confused, it's bringing forth emotion about art. Which is something we've lost," he commented.

Pettet is not revealing the identity of his co-performer, saying only: "I can't disclose information on my partner at this minute. He's at my art school, though, and someone I am physically and emotionally attracted to."
