Hah! I've misplaced plenty of things, but it's more like having done that at my mom's house, visiting during the holidays, and then rummaging through my old stuff and finding it there years after I've been gone.

I need to clean out some closets and whatnot, then I'll probably find all sorts of things I didn't even know I was missing.

one time i lost a pair of house keys with my name inscribed..about 4 years ago..and for some unknown reason, the neighbor discovered them in his yard, dug up by his dog!

That's pretty insane. My manager told me her cat had knocked the keys off the counter and somehow pushed them under the stove the other morning. Pets are silly! And that would've sucked if she hadn't found them immediately, but rather years later. xD
