On my way to work this morning I spotted a £20 note lying on the floor. It has been raining so it was a bit soggy but I picked it up and looked around and couldn't see anyone so I kept it.

Have you ever found any money lying around on the floor in public? How much was it and what did you do with it?

Also have you ever lost money? Did someone return it to you?

I found 20$ at this corner store on the floor. :O
And I've also lost money before.

I found a $50 bill on the ground outside the bank. Apparently, someone must have been counting their money and it fell. I picked it up and went inside the bank. I told the teller that I had found money outside. I didn't tell her how much it was. I gave her my name and phone number and told her that if the person came back in asking if anyone found money, for her to give them my contact information. Later that afternoon, I got a call from an elderly man asking if I had found a $50 bill that he must have dropped outside the bank. I told him I did find his $50 bill and gave him my address to come get it. He was so grateful as that was part of his senior check that he relies on. He offered me $10 but I refused. It felt really good to give the money back.

I have, also, lost money but have never had it returned.

 Jazzy that's a nice story. :)

I found money at work a few times... The most I've ever found was $20. Second place was $15... Other than that I've just found $1 bills blowing around and pocket change. I've never had anyone tell me they lost money so I suppose it wasn't important.

One time I did see a wallet in the middle of the street in front of my work and I stopped my car, picked it up and I could tell by the ID inside that it was a fellow staff member's. I gave the wallet to her and she was so grateful that she gave me a $50 reward. :)
