To me, there is a difference between:
"stage magic" which is illusion, slight of hand, misdirection, and fancy apparatus, which is an art in and of itself.
AND
Magic (often spelled Magik to differentiate) which involves spells, familiars, and possibly even demonic influence to produce results.
While we're at it, most Televised magic is, usually, handled by the cameramen and the director, and the 'magician' is just for show.
And I've never been quick of hand enough for one, of the wrong sort of temperament for the other, and not pretty enough for the third, so... No.
