I'm sick and tired of going out to check the mail in nasty weather. I found this neat item called a Mail Chime. This clever mail chime alerts you whenever mail is delivered to your mailbox, making it a convenient addition to any mail receptacle. When the mailbox is opened, the transmitter on the door sends a signal to the chiming receiver in your home, notifying you that your mail has arrived. No more wasted trips to the mailbox!

Description

• Transmitter measures 4 W x 1 1/2 H x 1 D.

• Receiver measures 4 W x 3 H x 1 D.

• Works up to 450 feet.

• Includes volume control.

• Compatible with curbside, slot, and wall mailboxes with horizontal hinges.

Do you have one? Would you buy something like this?

Sounds like a pretty cool item to have! And nah, I don't have one of these. Our Mailbox is actually on the wall next to our front door.

It's great for me because I have a very long driveway and cannot see the mail being delivered.

That sucks! I can see why half the time that would be a wasted trip for ya!

Some times I think ppl are stealing my mail when I check it and its empty.

This device lets me know whenever my mailbox has been opened. It not only chimes but it has a red indicator light on it. I also got this for mail theft as I will know know something is supposed to be in the mailbox. When it isn't, all I have to do is alert proper authorities.

Pretty cool.

My last neighbor WAS stealing my mail. I found my mail in her trash can all ripped up.
