Popular in the US and other Western countries since the end of World War Two, so called Marriage Brokers arrange communication and meetings between, most often, lonely working class men and desperate third world women, for a small fee paid by either or both parties. In most cases said brokers and their arrangements are legitimate. Sometimes the operation is nothing more than a front for Prostitution of Human Trafficking where the women sent to the West end up as indentured servants or worse.
