Man reaches 50mph on bike - backwards

A video of a cyclist speeding down a wet and winding mountain road - backwards - is going viral online.

The amazing clip shows daredevil Eskil Ronningsbakken sitting backwards on his handlebars at speeds of up to 50mph.

The Norwegian daredevil completed the stunt on the 4.5km road down Trollstigen, an 850m high mountain in Rauma Municipality.

Despite the wet weather, he used no safety equipment apart from a regular cycling helmet, weaving through oncoming traffic.
