We have a few mango trees and this year they are a bit late in flowering. We see tiny fruits hidden among leaves and soon a bird will peck at one and drop it and that is the time we know mangoes are ready for harvesting.

It could be in April that we will have loads of them. I am waiting

Unfortunately I am allergic to them. Those are a pretty color.

I'm not a huge fan of mangoes, but sometimes when it's a part of a meal it's tasty. My daughter likes to get mango smoothies sometimes. I think the taste is too bitter for me? Maybe sour? I can't figure it out.

We call them Indian mangoes in my country. I do love them, and sometimes I pickle the green ones at home. I love dipping with fish sauce and vinegar.
