Marvel Reveals New Ultimate Comics Spider-Man

Holy Beanballs Batman! This is an interesting way to go about it! I was kinda hoping/banking on them doing it where Peter's in a coma and nobody knows but Nick Fury and certain others. But it'll be interesting to see how they do this.

Hasn't there already been a character to portray Spider-Man besides Peter Parker? I know that it was in alternative universes but Spider-Man 2099 wasn't Peter was it?

Yeah, 2099 was Miguel O'Hara. They kinda sucked with naming, though. Venom 2099, Doom 2099, Spider-Man 2099... Basically just remaking old characters and putting 2099 in their names. Oh, did I mention Ghost Rider 2099?

I actually have the first Spider-Man 2099 issue. Which from what I remember. That entire thing was supposed to be some sort of in the future deal.

I don't see that happening. But hey you never know. Heck in the Ultimate universe Piotr 'Colossus' Rasputin was gay while his 616 counter part was/is straight.
