Massive Fire in the Apartment Below Mine.

Hello everyone,

Today I woke up on the screams and the smell of unbearable smoke resulting from a massive fire that caught the 7th apartment in the tower I live in (Its an 11 floor tower) I live in the 8th floor so I was just above this apartment. I dressed up in hurry, took my cats and kittens in a big bag and rushed downstairs. The carbon monoxide is just so deadly.

The fire completely destroyed the affected apartment and mine was slightly affected but no serious losses except for two air conditioners.. No serious human injury though and thats the most important after all. I wish safety for each person on planet Earth.

Thank you Jazzy. Yes there was a lady and 2 children (3 years old and 1 years old) her husband was at work. I broke into her home and just grabbed her quickly with the children since I was the closest one to her and we went downstairs quickly. We kept coughing a bit but the ambulance took care of us.

Oh thank you Jazzy. But I am pretty sure anyone I know would have done the same thing and if I were in this lady's shoes, somebody would have definitely done this to me!

No definite reason till now but most probably is a "Short circuit" It is very frightening to be honest even for a guy who spent 3 years in dirty tents in wild deserts, it is just overwhelming.

glad your building was made of stone and not wood like here in america, our apartment buildings are cheap and made mostly of wood... hope all is well though...
