A massive explosion on Christmas morning in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, left at least three people wounded. Authorities described the explosion as "intentional.

I believe I read on another news article they did find a charred body. So yikes, I wonder what this was about?

That would be a sad day indeed. Let's hope that it turns out to be false and that they only have injuries from the explosion. What's more frustrating is that they're calling it an 'intentional' explosion instead of a terrorist act. Any person who puts a bunch of fuel or explosives in a vehicle with the intention to cause harm to others or damage property, it's a terrorist act.

Having a Christmas day in your home then that happens outside. So many sick people around. Hopefully, they aren't many people around.

Looks so big and bad

Yeah, apparently they have a few suspects they're observing so we'll have to wait and see takes credit or is charged with it. Apparently there was a video released that showed that there was an emergency alert before the explosion, warning people to leave the area.

I really hope they figure out who caused this, and I pray for the victims' families. What a tragic event, especially on Christmas too.

Right now it sounds like all of the injured victims are expected to make a recovery.

I saw that on the news the other day. That is terrible. I hope the authorities have some solid leads and run down who is responsible.

Looks like the person responsible was inside. They seem to have identified the person as well from the remains that were found.

I wonder what message he was trying to send and to whom. I think it was near some buildings owned by AT&T

That's what everyone is trying to figure out. Why cause an explosion near AT&T buildings unless he's boycotting the sale currently under works?

I think that they're going to rule it as a suicide.

While investigators continue gathering information on who may have been responsible for the explosion and why they did it, one expert says the blast likely wasn't supposed to cause a mass killing.
"What makes this so perplexing is the fact that it doesn't appear that the person or people who conspired to do this had any interest in causing any type of mass casualties," said James Gagliano, a retired FBI supervisory special agent and CNN law enforcement analyst.
Mayor John Cooper said the explosion was "clearly done when no one was going to be around."
"It would be a different message if it was 5 p.m. on a Friday," the mayor said. "It seems intentional, but it seems like a one-off."
