Should she be allowed back?

A British teenager who tried to join the Islamic State says she wants to go back home. A Turkish politician confirmed the 19 year-old, who previously praised the Charlie Hebdo attacks, sent a message to her family outlining her desire to return to the UK.

In my opinion the answer should be NO
She made he choice and went over to the enemy and that is where she now belongs.

No, under no circumstances should anyone who leaves their country to fight alongside terrorists or to support them in any way should ever be allowed back in.
NO, NOT NOW, NOT EVER

Basically this. They made their choice. Anyone who leaves the UK to join a group of people who believing beheading people and putting the videos on the net is acceptable should not be allowed to return.

Very well said and I totally agree with you.

I would as I would rather let in ten trying to deceive me then to find even one who genuinely sought after forgiveness only to find that I turned my back on them and said no. This story reminds me of the story of the Prodigal Son from the Bible just with a different set of circumstances but the heart of both stories appears to be the same.

As for the argument of letting ISIS into the country as a reason to say no, it's already in your country and everywhere else just not in the levels that it is in the middle east and I am certain if they had the levels in other countries that they do in the middle east that what is going on over there would be going on everywhere else that had that level of support for ISIS.

Sure, she can come back. Just charge her with whatever criminal charges can be thrown at terrorists, and lock her in a cell.
