What's a medical condition you have that most people have not even heard of?

Grover's disease.

Right now it is in long term remission, but, on odd occasion, it does flare up.

My father has both it, and the Hailey-Hailey version, so, I might have its cousin as well.

Don't worry, you have to come by it honestly, you can't catch it from a forum.

One sure cure seems to be cheap bourbon.

Endometriosis. Pretty much everyone I know has maybe heard of it but has no idea what it is, but it's the cause of immense pelvic pain due to misplaced tissue in the body.

It occurs when tissue like that which lines the uterus (tissue called the endometrium) is found outside the uterus -- usually in the abdomen on the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and ligaments that support the uterus; the area between the vagina and rectum; the outer surface of the uterus; and the lining of the pelvic cavity.

This misplaced tissue develops into growths or lesions which respond to the menstrual cycle in the same way that the tissue of the uterine lining does: each month the tissue builds up, breaks down, and sheds.

I also have cysts on one of my ovaries, but I also seem to have endo.
