Have you ever had any members warn you about members apart of your staff being bad for your forum? What did you do?

I just removed a moderator on my forum for having a history with one of my partners as a moderator, and he or one of their old moderators scammed him out of the money during a promotion.

Well, that's not cool at all.

or you have people warning you not to join someone's forum because they scammed or wronged a bunch of people.

Only once that I recall. I've always been very selective about who I bring on as staff, as I want professional, mature people.

Even with being selective you can make a misjudgement, and a community can turn on you if you have a toxic staff member.

That's why I said I've been selective. I don't bring people on willy nilly, or let people apply. I choose based on current members who are active and have a good track record.

I haven’t had this happen before. Same here—I only bring on experienced and qualified people to join my staff team.

Teamwork makes the dream work, and having a solid staff team makes all the difference!
