I always wanted a metal detector when I was a child, I loved the idea of finding some treasure

Yep, sure have. Been that person on the beach using one. They're fun, used it to find a few coins before.

I havent used my metal detector for ages. Never used to find anything other than barbed wire and nails haha.

^^ Same. My grandpa lost his wedding ring once and we searched for it for about an hour or so, but all we ever found was nails, rocks, wire, and tin foil. I guess it is more so the thrill of hearing the beeper going off and seeing what you found that amuses most.

I used to have one when I was something like 7, and it broke within 2 weeks. Never found anything with it.
