I promised my nephew about 8 years ago that I'd make some shadow boxes for his military uniforms and patches. I was waiting for my daughter to actually build the shadow boxes since she does wood working, but she never got around to it, so this month I gave in and ordered some. I was going to take them to my dad's at Easter in hopes that I could work on them with my nephew, but he'll be in Japan so now I'll wait until September. That gives me time to plan things out better.
What kinds of pins are the best to use to tack thins down? Glue dots? Are those acid free? What suggestions do you have to help me make these really nice for my nephew?
