These are always cute to see, it's a shame we don't see them too often but I believe some cats are happy to do this and others not so much.

NO! I'm making a wild guess that perhaps this baby (and others with this behavior) may have been separated from mama too young & bottle fed. ???

If you look closely at the very end of the video clip, you'll see a little patch of shaved hair where this kitty has recently been neutered. (male)
So, I assume that action is a very comforting 'pass time'.

A long time ago, I had a kitten that I used to have to bottle feed. He wasn't all the way weened off of his mother who abandoned him. We got him eating kitten food pretty soon after and that was a relief.
