I work in a tech company, and on local PD Days (Professional Development days for teachers) we used to have a group of kids come into the office, and we would try and teach them a bunch of STEM related things. We've baked cupcakes from scratch, made slime, played with snap circuits and ozobots, and so much more. The kids especially loved how there was always 1 session run on computers!

Note: This PD Day "Camp" is open to kids of employees aged 6-12 years old.

This is not a plug or anything for this website, besides the fact that I think it is super cool and the kids really enjoyed it! The website was Code.org and they have a Minecraft coding activity for various levels! It basically teaches kids about sequences and develops basic problem solving to achieve a goal/action. Let's just say I felt REALLY old as I was helping/encouraging these kids and they were schooling me on how to get through these levels! I was truly amazed at how bright and intelligent these young people were.

If you have kids, I HIGHLY recommend checking out the site and trying the Minecraft coding activities. They really are fun from a 30 yr old's perspective :D
