Mother Leaves Child Locked In Hot Car

This footage is pretty distressing, but not as distressing as if the woman being filmed was being told her child was dead.

It shows Hannah Secondi reacting as she realises there’s an ambulance near her car and a police officer confronts her for leaving her one-year-old daughter locked inside.

Witnesses Chrysty Lansdowne and Jedida Bizzell spotted the girl in the car at a branch of Walmart in Talala, Oklahoma, where she had been for nearly an hour.

They contacted emergency services who turned up and freed the girl who was sweating profusely. Court papers said the temperature in the car was up to 58°C (136°F), according to Tulsa World.

Secondi was being held in custody until today when she is due to appear in court on neglect charges while the girl is being looked after by her father.

Another example of a person who should NEVER be a parent. Thank goodness she was spotted in the car and those people called emergency services.

You never leave a child unattended. Especially in a vehicle that's about to heat up as hot as the oven on a summer day. I don't get people.
