There is a huge difference between watching movies at home or at the cinema. Cinema makes it feel much more rewarding, because you have put in the energy and resources to be there. You also have a bigger screen, hence more immersive experience.
It is recommended that once in a while you visit the cinema, whether alone or with a loved one.

Is it something you do every now and then, or it’s always home movies?

I love going to the cinema when everyone is quiet and no one is talking to their friends or using their phones.

We can only afford to go to the movies around once every few years LOL Okay, so we did find a movie theater that has cheaper tickets, but it's at the mall, and that's a 45 minute drive. Are we really saving money???

Stay home pretty much. Too many people talk throughout the movie and ruin it by being disruptive. It's gotten to the point where I don't enjoy going anymore.

I like the cinema for matinee shows, but I haven't been in years at this point. The smell of the popcorn, the huge screen, it's nice, but I'm fine watching at home

I have not watched movies since Netflix and Disney Plus were launched. But I did watch DVDs before these two became popular.

I do both. When I am alone, I watch movies at home. I enjoy going to cinema with friends once in a while. Other than enjoying the big screen and sound effects, It's a social event to me.

I mostly prefer to watch movies at home with family and it's better as compared to movie theatre.
