Mowing the yard

I have to use weedkiller, rakes and shears on my garden as it is uneven and I cant use a lawnmower on it. I'd rather just have a paved yard!

Luckily in the winter it doesnt seem to grow at all.

It's so dry here, I don't know if we even have any living grass. We mow like occasionally, in spring especially.

I love mowing the grass. Because of the size of the yard, sometimes I mow the front and one side on one day, the other side and back on another day.

The landlord sends out her son to mow my front yard.

Nah, men have to do their part somewhere. The women have always done the cleaning of the inside of the house and the men the cleaning of the outside and repairs for the most part.

So I just stated it like it was. I can't take credit for mowing the lawn myself when I never do it.

I would much rather mow the yard myself than have someone do it for me. They don't do it to my specifications. I like it mowed a certain way, trimmed a certain way, and mulch spread in the flower beds a certain way.

My husband has mowed our grass 4 times in the history of our marriage.

1--he mowed down the daffodills--1995

2--he mowed down my ziennas--also 1995

3--he mowed down my hostas--2005

4--he mowed down the irises--2007

So there ain't no way I'm letting him near the lawn mower.
