[font=ScoutLight, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Vela finally ended by moving to cut the boy’s penis saying, ‘Let me cut you,’ and offering the child the chance to ‘run away and never come back.’

This is another one of those cases where it's really difficult to tell what really happened. If she had evidence the guy had molested the kiddo, then yeah I could say she made the right decision, but I don't know that for a fact and it seems rather crazy.
