Well for us murder has become part of our every day life with most cases possibly making the news headlines for a day or two until the next 100 cases come to light.
"We have 47 murders a day. That sort of figure is what one would expect in a war zone."

So last week a young school teacher was kidnapped outside her home while waiting for her friend to pick her up for work. Social media and the local media went into full overdrive that day as they searched for her. It would seem that money had been withdrawn out of her bank account later that day at an automatic teller machine.

The next day the police found her body and she had been shot and the following images were released police looking for this man

However everything seemed to become very quite with not much more being heard on this case after the initial outcry by the public over this. Her funeral was held a few days back and was well attendant by the community.

“Jayde is not gone; she is everywhere. Jayde resides in the wind like an elemental force. She can be experienced in the blooming of flowers; she is the yellow in daffodils of her favourite flower. She is the crest in every breaking wave, she is the fertile soil; she is the enduring embers of the fire.”These were the moving words of Jayde Panayiotou’s husband, Christopher, during his speech at her funeral at the Mater Dei Catholic Church in Cape Road, Port Elizabeth on Monday

Yesterday afternoon I heard the suspects involved in her murder have now been found and arrested. Apparently the one had already appeared in court this week

So senseless and heartbreaking. :(

Glad they found the bastards that did this and I hope they get what's coming to them.

Well he will sit in jail and I can tell you that is no fun this side

I watch so many real life crime shows that happen in America.

I would be too scared to go there especially with your gun laws.

There is so much of this sadness and so many of these stories all over the world not just the US but everywhere it's a shame. A sad shame
