My computer dead again

i haven't seen one of those in years. what kind of machine is it and what version of windows is it running?

be more specific about 'it doesn't respond at all'

does it post the CMOS and give you a command prompt or does it boot all the way to the desktop and then not give you any keyboard and mouse?

a lot of times the easiest thing to do will be to reformat the hard drive and reinstall the windows if you can't get the windows to repair itself.

Did you just install a new program or a piece of hardware, update a driver, install an update, etc.?

Have you tried unplugging the computer and plugging it back in?

Maybe you should save some money for a new computer. I got my laptop for about $400 USD off Best Buy.

It doesn't even want boot windows at all
Its stuck at "gateway logo" and stuck their
f2 or f11 not working
How do that with laptop?
Btw not rich person that can afford but win install disk
btw I don't know how use command prompt

I have laptop not desktop
I was downloading final steam game I need for garrys mod which was team fortress 2
then decided to crash for no reason
also trying fix my screen might bang too hard
I don't have monitor if I did then this wouldn't have happen

it's not posting at all. what happens if you press F8 while it's trying to boot? you may get lucky if you clear the CMOS by yanking the battery for a day or two. do you have a system recovery disc?
