It's simple but very calming on the eyes. I think it is a very nice theme for your forum niche. The only thing I would change is maybe the logo. I think a nicer logo would do wonders for the forum theme

Very simple, however the colours go nicely together, check out some pastel colours, I'm sure you'll love them. The logo needs work it seems very in your face and doesn't go with the theme, I mean this with the up most respect.
