Over 20 percent of US children ‒ an estimated 16 million youths ‒ are on food stamps, according to the latest government figures. That number has almost doubled since the Great Recession began in 2007.

but then, this is good for business right:
Poverty is profitable:

people that complain about feeding the children yet support killing children in illegal wars...

I am sure that it all must be the fault to the 'liberals' somehow right?

I guess some will be happy to know that the scumbag bottom feeding poor people are at least contributing to the profits of JP Morgan, that way more wealth will 'trickle down' somehow.

This is what you get when you make the government the providers of everything in a society. This is what you get when you have a government over regulating and over taxing anything that moves.

People do not complain about feeding the children. People complain that government thinks it is there job to feed the people instead of the local communities and charities.

No one with any sense supports killing children. Or have there been any illegal wars.

Very easily yes. Progressives and liberal policies and there destruction of the free market have brought us to this state.

Blame the leftists (I don't say Liberal, as our conservative party is called the 'Liberal Party' over here haha.)

But seriously, until the top 1% start giving a shit the gap's only gonna get bigger.

The Average 1% makes 1.2 million dollars a year. Who do you think these people are? They are the people who are self employed and are employing millions of Americans. So I do not know where this nonsense comes from that they do not care. They keep middle class self employed people like me in business. I for one am thankful as hell to the 1%.

The 1% did not make America a part time working country. The 1% did not ruin Americas health care system and increase the average insurance rates by 200 to 400 percent. The 1% did not make tens of thousands of regulations for businesses which cost American businesses billions which then passes on those expenses to the working Americans.
