What is your nationality? Half Italian and Half Irish

What difficulties do you think there are in marrying someone from a different nationality to you? I was engaged once to an Asian man. His mother wanted him to marry an Asian woman. She made it very clear she would never accept me into the family. Due to this, I broke the engagement.

Do you look like your nationality? I look more Irish than Italian. I have flaming red hair, blue eyes and a fair complexion. My dad had hair so dark it looked black, dark brown eyes and an olive complexion.

Sure, it's tied in with racism and whatnot.

What difficulties do you think there are in marrying someone from a different nationality to you?
Different nationality means different culture, possibly different religion, etc. There are a lot of problems to overcome. Also, where are you gonna live? Don't have those problems with someone with the same nationality. Although it could be argued that that makes everything more interesting rather than problematic.

I dunno, it'll probably stay much the same for a long time.

What other nationalities does your country have a problem with?
Mostly the French and the Dutch. Although there's a lot of racism as well so pick any none white country.

When are you most proud of your nationality?
When we break the record for not having a government for the longest time. =\

I guess, but most ppl think I'm Dutch or scandinavian because I'm so tall and blonde.

Ehh, dunno.

Do you think your nationality is pure?
Well, the germans invaded us, the french invaded us, the spanish invaded us, the dutch invaded us etc etc etc. So I doubt there's a thing you can call a "pure" Belgian.

My nationality is of German and Scottish ancestry, and I am happy with it.

I cannot change my nationality, but if I could, I'd change it to Polish or Finnish.
