The Brooklyn Nets and Orlando Magic did not agree with a trade involving NBA all-star Dwight Howard.

If this trade were to be made, Brooklyn gets Howard, with Orlando getting four future first-round picks, Brook Lopez, and Kris Humphries.

Discuss.

I think he has acted so immaturely. Now he missed his chance.

It's a shame it cost Stan Van Gundy his job.

I follow sports news, and I think Van Gundy should be fired. Not every player is satisfied with the coach of the Orlando Magic...not even the owner and management. There will be other teams in the NBA interested in Dwight Howard however, but Brooklyn is out of the talks.

As for Howard, don't get me wrong he's such a gifted center, seems to have a great personality. But as many have said, he is surprisingly immature. He had his chance to go to the Nets but chose to stay: http://www.cbssports...-howards-future

Also he lied through his teeth about his role in Stan Van Gundy's firing:

Too bad, I would have loved to see a D.Howard/D.Williams duo on the Nets. But I doubt the Magic will ever trade their golden boy for Brook Lopez and Kris Humphries.

Nope. Instead, Brook Lopez was inked by Brooklyn a 4-year, $60M-contract. His new paperwork is good until the end of the 2015/16 NBA season. It is also said according to the source that the Nets signed Deron Williams and Gerald Wallace, as well as Nebulous Johnson in a six-player trade with Atlanta and Houston. Disappointing for Dwight Howard not to join the black-and-white army.
