New Bike

Hello Off Topixers,

I have recently purchased a new bike. I haven't had a bike for almost 10 years. I don't know why I did go out to the store out of sudden, check bicycles and instantly paying and bringing that one home. Most likely I miss it so much that I am going in a few hours to a riding event in my street that goes every Friday on 7:00 AM local time.

I feel happy that I got that and I hope it will be a big replacement for my car on most of my near/mid destinations.

I'm in the market for a bicycle myself! Riding a bike to do small errands and what-not, getting a bit more exercise, I should have thought of it 2 years ago! It's a very sharp looking bike!

A cheap next mountain bike with twenty one gears... it's a good bike but its falling apart... I used and abused it... but get uncomfortable after awhile unlike beach cruisers... beach cruisers are easy riding and comfy...

They really are. It's a perfect way to get some errands done and get your blood pumping at the same time. Totally ridiculous that I hadn't thought of a bike sooner when I've been trying to shed these last 7pounds!

Well then I am glad I purchased it right now since I started an intense workout program to do a clean cut. It will definitely prove useful on active rest days.

Gosh I just got back home after riding for around 15 kilometers. Im insanely tired I won't lie because I haven't trained for a while so my fitness needs a big refreshment. However, I guess I'm not going to drive my car to close destinations anymore. Theoretically cars are much much faster than bikes but practically and in a jammed city like Cairo, I arrived faster on the bike, engaged my body intensely and most importantly I enjoyed a lot.

nice bike bro. I had a realky nice one. An old schwinn model circa 1980 just as i was learning to love it, it got stolen after parking it at the subway train station. Now? i drive. Leaving a huge footprint in the enviroment

Well, driving a car can really be much comfortable but harming the environment as you said. You may think you are living in a polluted air but you really haven't figured that thing out yet. Come here to Cairo to get the answer of what a polluted air means

Hahaha well actually I have zero pounds in my pocket now. I am a kind of person who immediately spend any kind of cash that comes to hand. Thats why it might look for you I'm rich I am terribly average

I love bikeing
I own
18 speed pedific cycle roadmaster mountain bike
I still can't find right setting at all
Really want single gear bike
Plus seat wee bit high even at lowest bar
I have used bike to mall and library
And stores near by and few time bike to my sisters
I have minor Asma so sometimes I get Terid easy but other times its pieace of cake
I just hate gear bikes sometimes
Also got bike lock for it too
bike it self in pretty good shape

Sadly, all roads are like that. We don't have proper roads for bikes only. However, it has been implemented right now by the new government and they began updating the infrastructure. Hope they are not lying like always.
