I bought a new computer about 10 months ago, a couple weeks after I bought it, I got this real bad virus and the computer was distroyed. Even the restore disks wouldn't fix the problem. Someone at work offered to fix it for me when I brought it up, he said he knows a lot about computers. So I brought him the computer and 3 hours after he took it home, the computer was fixed! He said he also could not get the restore disks to work but luckily he had his own copy of Windows 7 and was able to get the computer working that way. So I can finally use this new computer I bought a while back. Im on it right now, much faster than that old dinosaur I was using.

Anyway, here are the specs:

Processor Type: AMD Athlon ll X2 255 Dual Core

Hard Drive Size: 1TB

Processor - Clock Speed: 3.1GHz

Multimedia Drive: Yes

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Graphics Type: NVIDIA GeForce 9200

System Ram: 4GB

That's great you had someone at work that could fix your computer! Did he charge you for doing this?

Just as a tip, it's very unlikely that any virus could damage the hardware of a computer, they can just screw up the partition enough where you can't use restore points.

That's pretty decent specs. Have you tried overclocking it yet?
