Well chirstmas has come early for me. Or is a late birthday? Probably both.
My dad called me up a few days ago telling me how he felt bad for forgetting my birthday (which was back in july). I laughed because he hasnt remembered my birthday in years. I think the last time he gave me a present was like 8 years ago. Anyways I told him Don't worry about it. I dont need anything. He said No, I'm trying to make things right so let me do this. Anything you want you can have.. within reason. I said Ok.. Well they have 22 inch flat LCD wide-screen monitors at Wal-mart right now for like 200 bucks and they have a nice speaker/subwoofer setup for like 70 bucks. He said: Ok, sounds like a plan.. then he wires me $270 and I go buy them!
I call him to thank him and he said You know that was your chirstmas AND birthday present. I said Thats fine! Thanks dad!
These will work out great because I have a lot of movies and music. And the monitor is so big I can work on two things at once or watch something while Im working on something.
These are major improvements on my old monitor and speakers. The new monitor is like HUUUGGGEEEEE compared to my old one and the picture is so clear. The speakers/subwoofer shakes the room around with no problems at all.
