New Orleans- 'desk' style

This is one of the most fascinating and educational articles I have ever had the pleasure to read. The pictures are breathtaking and my favorites were: The Cathedral, The Devil, The Skeleton Bicycle Team and the wrought iron balconies. Hats off to you for writing such a fabulous article and hats off to Mrs Desk for the incredible pictures. Thank you so very much for posting this for all of us!

Thank you

I'm glad you enjoyed it.

There will be one more article and a some other photos for it. As well as a some pictures of the disclaimers and warnings style on a page in that section.

Oh. In the other photos I explain the significance, at least from my perspective, of this:

Actually, Pirates Alley is just an alley.

The tourist trap is essentially about nine blocks of Bourbon Street.

The bird poop sign was very funny. Those Mardi Gras beads sure wind up in the strangest places when then thrown high in the air. Additional parking available sure is expensive according to the sign, it's $17500 per hour!

Thank you for more great pictures!

Wow, this is huge and IMO very creepy looking. Any idea how tall this Jester is? Thank you for explaining the signifiance.

Thank you ma'am

The Jester is significantly larger than life size, but I have no idea how big it is.

You can see it in Google Maps 'street view' at the end of Canal Street next to the ferry terminal, but I can't find any specs on the thing.
