Yeah, same here, as long as they keep running it similar to the way I ran it without confusing the members, then it would be no problem. However, if the team was a total whack job who thought they could change the whole outlook on what the forum was supposed to be about, I don't know if I'd plan on remaining an active member there, I guess it would depend on how I like the changes, I suppose.
Well, a forum I used to be on (which was a very good forum, by the way) was sold in 2007 (I think) and then again earlier this year, and both times the people who bought it were just looking to make a profit off of it. If it's an in house power change and the people taking over are genuinely concerned with the wellbeing of the forum and prove themselves to be adequate leaders, I've got no problem with hanging around. If they try turning it into a profit machine and letting it go to the dogs, I'll be out of there until a decent member takes back over again.
I'd give it a shot.
