New Tattoo

I am looking for inspiration for a new tattoo for my arm, all I know atm is it needs to be colourfull and stylish is there anyone with some ideas for me?
Long term I want either a full arm of my wife from her modelling days or just a portrait but thats going to cost me more than I can stretch for now hence something smaller for now.

Difficult question. To me, people choose tattoos that represent something they are passionate about or symbolises something they are interested in. Perhaps if you could tell us what your other tattoos are or tell us what you are passionate about then we could help.

In the long run, however, if you really want an arm tattoo of your wife from her modeling days, or her portrait, I would suggest saving money to get it done. Would be a great surprise for her, no?

The cost of the full arm portrait is something that will have to wait for a year or so which is why I would like a smaller tattoo for the other arm which has a tribal tattoo at the top, I am thinking something a bit abstract bit like the humming bird in your sig.

You should try a general Google search for a symbol with something meaningful. Perhaps you can consult with a local tattoo artist/parlor and they can give you some ideas too. I think it's better when you get something that has a meaning behind it rather than just going with something that simply looks nice. Good luck with your search!

I agree, just can not make my mind up about the style let alone the actual image but I will eventually, as it's having the time it's difficult to book a session when I never really know when I am free from work commitments.

oh yes and it's going to be a full figure from her modelling days

Not sure I'd like to see my own face looking back at me every time I look at my partner. That's just me though.
