I read the news today about the bounty programm in the NFL. Where coaches pay for players to take hits and get out of the game. Now the commission is meting out stiff penalties. Saints' head coach Sean Payton is suspended without pay.

Th[font=arial, helvetica, sans-serif]e New Orleans Saints’ crush-for-cash bounty system already cost them head coach Sean Payton for all of next season and general manager Mickey Loomis for half of it, plus two second-round draft picks and a $500,000 fine.

I knew bits and pieces of it months ago, but I never expected more than fines.

It is a big deal if you're a Saints fan. They took out two of your guys. And people are saying this suspension would not have happened to another franchise. Like after the New England spygate thing, Belichick was only fined.
