Shopping for food when you are hungry is a recipe for disaster. Not only are you likely to buy too much food, youââ¬â¢ll be even more tempted by the high fat, high sugar stuff too.
If you do find your tummy rumbling as you head through the supermarket doors, buy a little snack from the fruit and veg aisles first (apples are great at staving off hunger as they have a high fibre and water content) and eat before you start shopping.
