Yeah I got that email just recently. Extremely interesting and excited they are taking that route. As long as it's not in danger of the screen burning through it's a good idea.

I 100% agree, as long as it’s safe for children to use as well I think it’s an amazing upgrade!

And burn in, which is a hardware issue with overused OLED and AMOLED screens.

It does look really good, but not worth giving up the current model for. I wonder if they had to scrap most of their plans for this due to tech part shortages? As everyone was expecting the Switch Pro.

I like to myself, the current Switch is fine so I’m not sure why they would need different screen technology but I guess if that’s what they wanna do then it’s worth giving it a try.
