No Brest Cancer / Yes, Breast Implants

I was watching on the news just now about this woman who lied to her community and told them all she had breast cancer and was dying. She even shaved her head and did other things to make people believe she was going through chemotherapy and actually had cancer. Anyways, she raised a bunch of money and used the money she got for breast implants.



Anyways, I think she is getting charged with theft by deception or something like that..



Thats just pathetic.

Really sad, but that's the world we live in today. It's a shame that people who actually have breast cancer will not receive the donations that could of went to a good cause, instead, they went towards one's own personal selfishness. When all is over, nothing you can do. Hopefully she'll learn her lesson one way or another. I feel for the people who supported her false cause.

It sort of devalues the donating process for people. Less people will probably want to donate to people if such things are going on.

I remember reading about something similar a while ago. This lady from the UK said that her young daughter was ill and needed special treatment in America. So all the local community rallied round, raised the money for her to go, and it turned out she'd made it all up.

That's just sick.

But I believe in karma.

My mum has breast cancer and has had to have reconstruction. Some women opt for Implants. I believe that implants should only be available for those that need them

Why do you need breast implants,though? I'm talking about those with breast cancer. Is it a health risk if you don't or is it just a comfort thing?

How would you like to look at your self with no breasts? (Didnt mean that in a nasty way by the way)



Not only is it non feminine, it also reminded my mum that she has breast cancer. Breast cancer women who have reconstruction or implants say they feel like they no longer have it.
