No Show!

I've been having a problem with one of my telephone lines for three days. I cannot use the phone because all I get is very loud static. I called it in to the telephone repair center. They told me they could not send a tech out until this morning. They also said the tech would be here no later than 12 noon today and that I HAD to be home to let the tech in to check the inside wiring. Well, here it is after 12 noon and no tech has shown up and no one has called me to give me an update.



I just called the telephone repair center and got this recording: Our offices are now closed. Due to the holiday, we will not be back in the office until Tuesday.



What the (fill in the blank) kind of crap is this! I've been without use of my phone now for four days and it will be another three days before I can call it back in! I wasted all morning waiting for an inconsiderate SOB that never showed up or even called me.

Has this ever happened to you where you waited for someone to show up and they never did?

I think the least you can do is tell someone who has been waiting for you that you're not going to make it. I'd be pretty annoyed if I were you too. Being a driven person I don't like to be reliant on flaky people.



I've had it happen several times where I've waited for no-shows. It's one of the more annoying things.

I too know that feeling. I've had it happen to me many times! I find it extremely irritating and unacceptable! The least they could of done was call you and let you know they weren't coming!

Yeah, I've had several similar experiences where the tech guy would either be hours late or didn't show up at all. Problem is they're all like that so it doesn't help to switch to another firm.
