This will be my 1st year at college. I have saved alot and Dad will help me with money :3 to get a newer device
Some friends recommend Note3 but I think S5 is good too.
What do you recommend? why?
 
I'd recommend the GS5. It has some things the Note 3 doesn't:
- Fingerprint scanner
- TouchWiz Nature UX 3.0 (an improvement to the TWNUX 2.5 on the GN3)
- Heartrate sensor
- Slightly better camera (16 MP over the 13 MP on GN3)
- Android 4.4.x KitKat out of the box
- IP67 certified (this means it's water and dust resistant)

Yep, the GS5 beats the GN3 on those aspects. Also that it's a bit smaller, 5.1 inches, while the GN3 is bigger (5.7") but doesn't fit in our pockets.

great features and the 16 MP camera is the best and of course that it fits in my pocket :D

What about device storage? is it the same?
My current device literally sucks :|

What model is it?
Storage on the GS5 is 16GB of internal storage and supports microSD/SDHC/SDXC up to 64GB.

okay, but dont laugh :T . it is Alcatel onetouch 991D.. I can hardly have more than 6 apps on it.. It would have been a trash without SD card..

I have done some researches on the internet and yeah S5 beats Note 3.. I think I am going for S5.. sooooooooo excited but i am not having it in less than 2 weeks though T.T
