President Barack Obama initiated 23 executive actions last week, including a few that no one should have a problem with:

Launch a national safe and responsible gun ownership campaign.

Review safety standards for gun locks and gun safes.

Provide law enforcement, first responders, and school officials with proper training for active shooter situations.

Develop model emergency response plans for schools, houses of worship and institutions of higher education.

Direct the Centers for Disease Control to research the causes and prevention of gun violence.

Require federal law enforcement to trace guns recovered in criminal investigations.

Launch a national dialogue on mental health.

Do you have a problem with any of the above proposals? If so which one/ones and why?

I was going to say no, as none of these affect me. But they're pretty interesting actually.

Direct the Centers for Disease Control to research the causes and prevention of gun violence.
I thought calling mental problems diseases was a bit old fashioned... Regardless, excellent.
