Old van. We're finally selling it since we bought a Toyota 4Runner (SUV).

Yeah, keyword, looks, but it's a 2005, roughly 5 years old. We cleaned it up a lot today. It honestly looks better than when we bought it, because we spent hours on it cleaning it from the inside out. My mom had to have a van because there's 3 kids, but now that my sister and brother both have their own cars, she finally decided to move on. We kept looking and looking for the right one when we ran into someone by surprise at this dealership, and they somehow knew my Dad's sister, my aunt, and he knew my aunt's dad, my grandpa, yeah confusing, but he knew we were a Clark, so he gave us a really good deal on that SUV.

Yeah, it's not that bad, but we always use the van to travel in, so it's been packing a lot of miles. Almost 91k miles on it, and once you get into the 100k range, problems generally start occurring. Sometimes not, sometimes they do. My grandpa has had a ford F150 for years it has more than 100k miles on it and still runs good. Old, but gets the job done. It really wasn't even the miles, although that was a bit of motivation, but my mom has always wanted an SUV.

I had a car that had almost 500k on it before. It finally broke down for good at around 440,000..

Honda's run forever.

What!?

That's extremely good. Honda is good, but the Honda Pilots we looked at were way too much. We probably got the SUV for a good deal not only because they knew someone in our family, but a lot of people are worried about purchasing Toyota since their recalls. My dad and mom both have Toyota now. lol I have to say though, that's probably the best van we've ever had. It hasn't given us any problems at all. Vans and trucks usually last forever. I know someone who had a Honda for years and never changed the oil. I don't know how it worked but it still works, just that he gave it to his daughter.

Cars run good up until 200k in my experience. After that they still function... Ive never seen a car over 500k though.

Hmmm... How often do you drive it on a typical day? It could be that my mom drives her van more over a shorter period of time. She cleans houses, so she drives pretty far out of her way to get to the better (richer) part of town. Also, whenever we go anywhere on trips, we take the van. But, with 5 people in a family, I guess it's used more frequently.

My brother is probably like you. He's had his car for a while, not sure about the mileage, but it's a good car. Difference is that he only drives it to work and that's about it. He may go to the gym, mall, or something, but he really doesn't drive a whole lot.

Toyota's are cool, and indestructible as Top Gear proved.

This.

My grandparents had a Corolla with around 190,00k's on it. They finally traded it in, someone else brought it and put another 50,000k's on it before it had its first issue.

Very nice looking SUV and the van does look brand new. I hope you get the asking price on the van and enjoy your new SUV.
